Early childhood is one of the most important stages in a person’s life. Kindergarten education plays a key role in supporting the overall growth of a child. It helps build the foundation for learning, social skills, and relationships with others. No matter their background, every child deserves proper care and support during the first five years, as these early years shape their future development.
Currently, 19 children attend Don Bosco Kindergarten in Bibile and 48 children attend the one in Dungalpitiya.
Together, these two kindergartens have supported 1,295 children over the years. Don Bosco Kindergartens provide early education opportunities to children from poor fishing and farming communities who otherwise cannot afford or access LKG and UKG education. With proper facilities and a nurturing environment, the children are cared for with love and preventive guidance, giving them a strong start in life.
