Dominic Savio Aspirantate in Dankotuwa is the motherhouse where almost all the Salesians in Sri Lanka began their spiritual and vocational journey. Currently, there are 65 aspirants engaging in their vocational discernment. Established three decades ago, the Kitchen facilities were not upgraded to meet the current standards and principles of health and hygiene. The kitchen required immediate renovation and refurbishment. Thanks to the generous support of the Archdiocese of Cologne, Germany, and Don Bosco Mondo, DBDC was able to construct and fully furnish a new kitchen facility at Dominic Savio Aspirantate. This much-needed development now ensures a healthier and safer environment for the aspirants and the community.
