In response to the heavy rains and flooding caused by Cyclonic Storm Ditwah, DBDC successfully completed dry ration distribution of our emergency flood relief program. A total of 5,700 food packs were distributed to families affected across the country, including Kandy, Kilinochchi, Arabegama, Murunkan, Uswetakeiyawa, Nochchiyagama, Mankulam,Bibila, Sandalankawa, Kochchikade, Chilaw, Dungalpitiya, Uswetakeiyawa, Pallawarayankaddu, Kobeigane, Mundalama, Kilinochchi, Madurankuliya, Mukkuthoduwawa, Nabada, Ibbanwala, and Digannawa.
These essential dry ration packs were provided to help families meet their immediate needs during this challenging period.
Through this collective effort, nearly 22,200 individuals benefited from the relief assistance provided.
