On 21st August 2026, Don Bosco Development Centre signed an agreement with Abans Electricals PLC for the installation of a 250kW solar power system with Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). The project is designed to generate income that will help strengthen the sustainability of activities at the Bosco Sevana.
The agreement was signed by Rev. Fr. Viraj Chamara, Executive Director of Don Bosco Development Centre, on behalf of Don Bosco, and Mr. C.J. Paranamanna, General Manager, on behalf of Abans Electricals PLC.
