Sports equipment was distributed on 19 December 2025 to six schools located in Dungalpitiya, Thalahena, Basiyawatta, Kepungoda, Pitipana, and Mankuliya. This initiative aimed to promote physical activity, teamwork, and overall student wellbeing within these school communities.
The programme was generously sponsored by Mr. E. D. D. de Silva, whose continued support reflects a strong commitment to uplifting school children and fostering sports development in rural areas. The donated items included essential sports equipment intended to enhance students’ physical fitness, discipline, enthusiasm, and active participation in extracurricular activities.
