Don Bosco Institute of Nochchiyagama pioneered a model network of English medium school accessible to poor challenging the existing English medium schools which are meant only for children of the affluent families. with the generous support of Donors facilitated by Don Bosco Mondo in Germany and Don Bosco Jugendhilfe Weltweit switzerland the construction of the first floor of the new school building commenced in July 2025 and set to be completed by December 2026.
