At that time, there were 107 students studying at Don Bosco School of Excellence, Murunkan. The demand for the school had been growing year by year, with the majority of the children coming from rural areas around Murunkan. English medium classes had been conducted for grades 1 to 5. By the end of 2023, 13 grade 5 students had to leave the school to pursue their secondary education, as there were no classroom facilities for grade 6. As a result, the institution needed new classrooms to provide secondary education for its students.
As an educational institution, it was our primary responsibility to provide a healthy and safe learning environment for the students. Therefore, the grant was used to partition an already existing hall into three classrooms for grades 3, 4, and 5.
