“Don Bosco Career Guidance and Counseling Services” program was programmed to orient, motivate, train and empower students in the government schools to help realizing their potential.
The objective of the program was to assist students in the schools to reflect on their ambitions, interests, aptitudes, qualifications and abilities. It is to help them to be motivated, fight behavioral problems, understand the labour market and education systems, and to relate this to what they know about themselves. Under this program, we reached out to the schools of Dungalpitiya area and conducted some valuable awareness program series for grade 9, 10 and 11 students. This program was highly appreciated by the school principals, teachers and the parents.
This programme targeted to build a generation with a expand vision to see the world outside and they will become the role models for their younger generation.
