Don Bosco School of Excellence, Murunkan was started in 2019 with the aim of uplifting the lives of the vulnerable and marginalized communities by providing quality education to break the cycle of poverty. But due to the economic crisis of the country where many has lost their livelihood, the number of absentees gradually increased. It was identified that the parents were unable to provide food and therefore they were not sending the children to the school. Als the children were feeling weak and less active. In order to ensure the regular attendance and to increase the good health of the students, Don Bosco carried out a nutrition program for the students.
