The official Inauguration and Blessing of the New School Building at Don Bosco, Pallavarayankattu took place on Friday, the 26th of July, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. It was a long-awaited dream, and the theme of the opening and blessing ceremony was “The Dream That Makes You Dream.” The opening ceremony began with the arrival of dignitaries, special guests, and invitees. The chief guest of the day was Dr. Sandro Veronesi, President of the Oniverse Group and the donor of the school building for DBSE. Also present were Mr. Jopollo Vincenzo, Honorary Chairman of Omega Line, Madam Paola, Director of Omega Line, and His Lordship, Rt. Rev. Dr. Justin Bernard Gnanapragasam, the Bishop of the Diocese of Jaffna. Among those in attendance were Rev. Fr. Roshan, the Provincial Superior of the Vice Province of St. Joseph, Sri Lanka; Rev. Fr. Paul Sajeewaka, the Vice Provincial; and Fr. Sagayaraj, the Economer of the Vice Province. Other dignitaries included the Secretary of Pradeshiya Sabai, Poonakary; the Divisional Director of Education; Salesians; parish priests; sisters; school principals; local governing authorities; army officers; and the Officer-in-Charge of Police.
