The Salesians of Don Bosco, Sri Lanka are involved in the holistic formation of underprivileged children and youth through many institutions across the island. Dominc Savio Aspirantate at Dankotuwa is the mother house where almost all the Salesians in Sri Lanka began their vocational journey and is a place that helps them to revive and rejuvenate their spirits along the way of building up the kingdom of God. The institution was in a need of some basic and necessary repair and some upgrading especially in the study and library facilities. The study hall and the library facilities were renovated to create a pleasant and conducive environment for engaging in educational activities.
